'HIGHLIGHTS..' RE-RELEASE AND NEW SINGLE AND VIDEO

The 'Highlights of Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of the War of The Worlds' album is getting a re-release on the 4th of June 2007 from Sony. This remixed album features 'single' versions of the songs from the original smash hit musical. 'Highlights...' will be available through all good music retailers.

To coincide with this, on May the 28th, a digital single version of 'The Spirit of Man', featuring Phil Lynott and Julie Covington, will be available online through iTunes, Napster, Tunetribe, etc.



The new single will be backed up by a new music video and this is the first time an official video has ever been made especially to accompany a 'The War of The Worlds' single release!

Nerf, will the new video be footage taken from the previous tour or will it be something nobody has seen before?

I think some of the tour cgi might be used but I haven't seen the video yet so I can't say for sure. I'm waiting for more info on this.
Hopefully, I'll get a peek at it and I'll let you know.

Well... I asked about that and apparently it will be download only initially. But the last single (the Tom Middleton mix of 'EoTW') got a limited cd release as well after a few weeks. I'm hoping for a DVD single for this one seeing as there is a video for it.
