Just a note to tell all the Australian fans that on Saturday the 21st of July, Channel 9 will be showing a 30 minute special, between 6pm and 6.30pm, which will look behind the scenes at the upcoming live Tour of 'Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of The Worlds'. There will be interviews and features about the Australian guest artistes and new information about the new Hologram Richard Burton which is being developed for the 2007 Tour. You lucky buggers.   |

I think it might be on twice that day, actually. I have a photo of the channel listing showing 6pm... but I couldn't be arsed to post it up. Bloody Aussies... I'm told we Brits won't be getting anything like this.  Tsk!  |

Lol. It seems odd that Channel 9 would air it at 6pm cause that's when they have their nightly news program. |

Well I watched and recorded it today.  I think it was aimed at mainly getting the word out there about the show - half the stuff that was in there I was already aware of. I must admit though, that this new hologram of RB is looking good - and I'm still wondering what this 'final surprise' they mentioned is. I can't wait for it to arrive here.  Bring on the Martian invasion of Australia! |
