::)Lego's changed a lot since I was a kid, then, all you got was bricks roof tiles windows doors and a platform to build on.

I cant see the vid yet coz the work server blocks youtube so I'll see that tonight at home, but yeah I agree with LC, there are so many custom parts nowadays its taking away the original point of lego, to make something out of completely standard parts. There was a great program on a couple of weeks back with James May (of Top Gear fame), where he went back over all the old toys. One of those was lego. He made a great statement about lego too., he said something to the effect of "they might as well have a single piece of lego shaped like a truck and get it over with" which is very true. just go back to square bricks, cylinder bricks, clear triangular windscreens and make kids think for once in a while
