Looking good, mate! Great to see you giving the Y-Wing some love! More than once have I thought what a cool looking fighter she is. Additionally, I see you've added some new detailing to the wings of your X-Wing Fighter. Well done! Nice work! I don't recognize the Y-Wing, which film is that from? *ahem...cough...* Episode IV: A New Hope. And (albeit from a distance) Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.

Additionally, I see you've added some new detailing to the wings of your X-Wing Fighter. Well done! Thank you! Doing the detailing on the back of the Y-Wing was the hardest, finding a balance between having "too much" and "too little" wasn't easy, but I think how it is now looks good. I agree with the X-Wing, it looks a lot better with more detail. Thanks for your suggestions to, they've been very helpful. Nice work! I don't recognize the Y-Wing, which film is that from? As anim8tr said, it mainly features in Ep 4. Here's a good video with it if you're interested.

*ahem...cough...* Episode IV: A New Hope. And (albeit from a distance) Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. Well that shows how observant I am, doesn't it? any Sci/Fi written or filmed since 1898 is wasted on me ;D

Well time goes by and the work goes on. Apparently I made little mention of my Star Destroyer, well here is a better image. Anyway, there is good and bad news regarding this one. The bad news is that I wreaked it. Sadly, I was trying to update bits of the look and all, when I accidentally wiped part of the hull. The back up was under going some changes of its own which happened to go sour on the same night, so both of those models were ruined. The good news is I fixed it. Additionally, as you can see in the above image the Star Destroyer is a little bit "bland". This is being fixed in the new version, I'm detailing the sides of it with weapons and such, and the command tower has been nicely detailed as of this moment to. Hopefully I'll have some new renders up soon.

Thanks for the image Bagnew. Well I managed to get it finished in the end, and here's a few images of it. Command Tower - Over 2 hours of work to detail Side Detailing - A looooooong time (didn't count exactly, at least 3 hours) As you can see, this is a vast improvement over the other one which wasn't all the detailed.

Damn, I'm using MAYA but that's for 3Ds Max...there are some MAYA type greeble-plugins floating around and I'm trying a few different ones but not having much luck.
And I agree, that's perfect.

To give the impression of the massive size of the Star-Destroyer you'll need to make the detail very small.

Well, I made a little animation, which just goes around the outside of the ship. It's a bit grainy I'm afraid, youtube didn't add a "View in HD" option with it.
