As is traditional now, here is a photo of me in Turkey with a (sort of) pylon. Not many traditional pylons over there, but I did think these Heath Robinson style concrete enigmas were quite interesting, more so by the fact that they seemed to defy the laws of gravity.

It was pretty warm at 41 degrees C! Mrs P is a converted pylon enthusiast as well now. ;D

OH! I see Mrs P. has had a strange pylon implanted into the top of her head, must have made flying home interesting.
