I finished reading the book a couple of days, ago, did a review on it, on we read,
It is very good,
Very entertaining
would be a great movie too
lots of action, misery, sadness but also love, for family and friends.
I was very attached to the charaters, they are very loveable.
Awsome work!
Chantale.

Up to chapter 3 at the moment. Incredibly attuned and laced with the politics of today. Plus a gamut of characters and scenarios at this point. Good stuff, RB!

The Killing Moon has received an excellent review in Orion's Child magazine. Described as a fast-paced thrill ride and give 4.5 out 5. Pretty chuffed with that.

Because of the demise of Borders Books which caused the cancellation of my book-signing tour sales of The Killing Moon have been pretty poor to date. Waterstone's refuse to let a relatively unknown author do signings in their branches despite many attempts, so I'm left with a bit of a quandry.
Do any members have any ideas about spreading the word/pushing it online? I've got the usual outlets like Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, book forums. The publisher has been sending review copies, press releases etc, but none of it seems to be having an effect. Any ideas?

Im not familiar with the whole book promo thing but I do know of this, www.writing-world.com/links/promotion.shtmlAmongst the links on here are ones I occasionally glance at for new titles like, www.compulsivereader.com/html/I think quite a lot of readers look here for a good find. I suspect you are in a much higher strata of bookworld than consumers like myself, but at least this one is a free user site and not a £1000,000 a year subscriber con that tells you what you already know. Its probably not much use but you never know... All the best Mr B!

Thanks, MrG - yes, they went into receivership before Christmas owing over £700. Thanks, Steve too - I'm going to take a look at both of those right now. Thanks for your help.
