Hullo Roadstergal! Welcome to the forum-a-hoo.
I remember watching the show when I was a kid, I remember a neat bit with a boy being dragged off on a tedious bus tour with his family and old folks, and for laffs he held up a sign saying, "Help me."
Folks on bus get taken over by lurgy-brains at the petrol station and the next we see is his panicked face as the bus drives down the motorway with several exclamation marks added to his card. I thought that pretty neat. (Possibly misremembered though, please let me know if I have.)
I remember watching the pilot as well. Fun, but I'm afraid I never really sought out any of the other episodes. I think the 'amnesia' explanation must have annoyed me a bit.
And now the cat is after our rubbish bags again. Please excuse me.

I thought the premise was a bit silly, but one episode in particular I remember as being fairly decent. It was the one that dealt with Martians kidnapping people with ambulances. The ending was dark and left unresolved. I always enjoyed the E.T.ish way they built their super weapons from parts cobbled together from human technology and fluorescent green Mars-boogers.

Season Two is now out on DVD in the US, if anyone is interested. Not sure about the UK. The US release date was 26-Oct-2010 according to Amazon. I saw a sidebar ad on Above Top Secret. I go there for some light reading every other day or so. Don't know what that says about me...
