hello, I am new to this group and was lead here by the defunct WOTWonline site which I discovered too late.
I was wondering if there were any decent blueprints of the 1953 martian war machines available online or for download. I know there was a blueprint set done years ago in fan circles. Does anyone have scans of them?
There apparently was an older post about this at the other site but the links people posted back then lead to nowhere today.
Anyhow, thanks for the help. The Manta design is timeless to me, strings or not. Beautiful and menacing and relentless.
Brian

I spent ages trawling through these drawings, scrutinizing, as someone with a microscope would, studying the details that swarm within the pages, trying to spot the coffee machine. I didn't even consider the possibility that there wouldn't be one.. until my wife pointed out that Martians don't drink coffee as it gives them migraines..AH! BUT! I said...then where is the kettle?

Cheers LC, these I found 2-3 (probably more) years ago on a website that I think was selling them as posters and quite large ones at that. I remembered I had seen these briefly and tried to find the place but didn't have any luck, however I struck gold when I checked an old WotW folder and found them.

Friggin' Awesome!
I remember these being advertised in the american sci fi mags Cinefantastique and Starlog back in the late 70's early 80's, so 'tis great to see them.
