The Losers is loosely based on the first story arc from The Loser comic from DC Vertigo Comics.
I wasn't expecting too much - just a bit of a lads guns and giggles movie. It was actually better than I was expecting. It is guns and giggles, but it's got a decent story to it, some great characters and Jason Patric makes a very good bad guy (he's much better at it than being a good guy!). Jeffrey Dean Morgan is cementing his tough guy image and Chris Evans offers some great light relief. Overall not a bad popcorn flick.
