I picked this one up cheap in Asda, so thought I'd give it a go. It promises to be good with names like Michael Madsen, David Carradine (RIP), Dennis Hopper (RIP) and well...Vinnie Jones too! It's written and directed and stars Larry Bishop who played the sleezy strip joint owner in Kill Bill 2. It's also presented by Quentin Tarrantino.
It's basically a biker movie about two rival gangs and the avenging of the murder of one of their girlfriends.
If you take it for what it is - a tongue in cheek Grindhouse-esq film then you'll enjoy it. It's silly and over the top with a plot that jumps all over the place. Vinnie Jones' attempt at an American accent is ridiculous and he's probably the worst thing in the film. Dennis Hopper and David Carradine only have small cameos but are both good and this was probably one of the last roles for both of them I'd have thought. Michael Madsen's always pretty good to watch and he didn't disappoint either. There are lots of very hot ladies thrown in for good measure too which is never a bad thing. Overall flawed, but not bad for a bit of light entertainment.
