Have any of you read stories from H. P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos?
Lovecraft's original tales are great stuff, IMO. The stories created after him are a mixed bag, but I've enjoyed a fair few.
What stories have you read from the Mythos? Any particular favorites?

Oh yes, Lovecraft had a great imagination.
Lovecraft books I have read:
The Lurking Fear. The Haunter of the Dark. The Call of Cthulhu. Cool Air. The Rats in the Walls. The Dunwich Horror. Herbert West Reanimator. The Thing on the Doorstep.
I have read others but these are some of my favourites.

I've read most of those-I have yet to read "The Thing at the Doorstep". My list is much the same as yours, with the addition of "The Whisperer In Darkness", a Mythos story set in Vermont that I found uniquely done and magnificently creepy. Has anyone else read that story, and what did you think of it?

Nice write up on the BBC website on HP - www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-17472580I recently purchased the film adaptions of The Call of Cthulhu and The Whisperer in the Darkness - both excellent adaptions. I also have the radio play version of At the Mountains of Madness - also very good.
