Out on DVD now.
This has to be the best ever Samuael L Jackson film i've ever seen.
A black ops specialist interrogator, played by Jackson is called in to torture a Muslim terrorist, (Michael Sheen) into revealing where 3 nuclear bombs are before they go off.
Its a pscyological thriller which basically a three way standoff between Jackson, Carrie Ann Moss, (FBI Agent disgusted by SLJ's methods) and Sheen's terrorist. It asks the question 'how far will you go to save people when the sh*t flies.'
The acting is incredible, the story had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I highly reccomend this film.
8/10
I warn you though you need a strong stomach. Jackson is one sick puppy in this film.

I don't think this film will help with my country's image though. Lots of Muslims hate us now because that stupid priest burnt those Korans last Saturday.
Don't mean to rain on your parade or anything. It's just that one of my best lifelong friends is a marine and will probably have to go back to Afghanistan soon. This war is getting out of control.

You forget our guys are out there too, and as your allies were just as much a target as you guys. personally i didnt see it as much as an anti muslim film but a morality tale questioning the legitamacy of torture in interrogation.

Hmm. Sounds like an interesting, if controversial film.

I didn't forget about my nation's British allies. And what I'm saying about this film is that the terrorist leaders might use excerpts from films like this as propaganda to fuel anti-Western sentiment. Basically saying, "This is how every Western infidel treats any righteous muslim. It is our duty to eradicate these animals to create a better world for ourselves." And so on. Using Hollywood films as propaganda isn't anything new. In the late 1930's for instance, there was a comedy film starring the famous pair Abbot and Costello in the role as sailors in the US Navy. In the film, they acted as though they didn't know the first thing about serving on board a warship. The Japanese navy tended to play this film to its men to show that the enemy they would face in combat would be nothing but a bunch of bumbling idiots.

I've seen this one - it is a very good film. The acting especially by Jackson is top notch.

Trivia: Unthinkable story and screenplay was written by British actor Peter Woodward son of Edward Woodward and played wizard Galen in Babylon 5's Crusade.
