I was really looking forward to this Landis/Pegg/Serkis comedy. I was hoping for a return to form for Landis after his lengthy absence. But then I saw this review... www.totalfilm.com/reviews/cinema/burke-and-hareBugger. I'm still going to watch it and pray that the review is woefully unjust, but it doesn't bode well. |

You never know. Maybet eh review just doesnt get black comedy, and therefore all the jokes fell flat. Maybe its not meant to be a laugh out loud farce. Judge it on its own merits. Plenty of good films were panned

I agree. Sometimes I love films that the critics didn't and vice versa.  |

That site also gave Jackass 3D three stars, so I guess you could also use that as a reference for their type of preferred humour
