The first one is the better game, but the 3rd has the most challenging difficulty.Plotwise I find 2 and 4 quite weak, though they still have great gameplay.

It is incredibly easy, I think thats why most grumbled... I love his outfit in 2 though, and you can get an assault rifle for him too. I still enjoyed it, just it was over too soon. You not played 2? I thought you would have...

No, because everyone said it was terrible and I wouldnt want to waste time with it. I love 4 but man.... I hate playing as Nero and I hate Nero. Man why did our fav Devil Hunter had to be replaced by Nero? Dante is the main star of DMC!!

I reckon 2 is nowhere near as terrible as people say. Just easy, and the story is pretty lame, but gameplay is still as good as ever.
Nero makes the game feel more like God of War, with his finishing moves using the devil bringer and I think the revving up on his sword is pointless... I have never used it and done just fine on the game
