Anyone who is interested in seeing digital scans of some of Wells's books (up to 1923) should visit archive.org and search for "H. G. Wells". There are a mass of books here, books written by Wells, books which include introductions and prefaces by Wells, and books written about Wells while he was still alive, also there a number of articles written about the books of Wells. The collection on here can be downloaded in many formats, the original scans of the book in pdf format, text files, epub files, though the text files and the epub files do on occasion contain errors as they don't appear to be proofread and the text is ocr'ed from the scanned pages, and sometimes these can be hard to read, especially the ones scanned by Google. Of interest is The War of the Wenuses, the parody of The War of the Worlds which was published not long after the novel was published. As I was unable to find a scan of this on the internet (there is a copy of the text floating around the internet) I uploaded a scan of my personal copy of this book. It can be views at archive.org/details/TheWaroftheWenuses. Do people know of other archives or websites that are out there that have digital copies of the works of Wells or papers relating to Wells?
