Hi Bittersound, well I found it disturbing right up until the point when we saw the monster in his full glory...after that I was trying not to laugh How something so pathetic managed to dispatch so many people is beyond me! If he didn't have the benefit of surprise on his hands I'm sure almost anyone could outwit this clumsy gibbering wreck KR

I couldn't help keep thinking, when watching this, about the 'classic' (ie. highly entertaining) 'Death Line'... the 70's movie about murderous cannibals decended from workers who got trapped underground during the building of the subway system. Only this new film didn't have a 2 second (ie pointless, but always welcome) cameo from Christopher Lee, nor did it feature the hilarious hamming of Donald Pleasance as the abrasive police inspector ('get your 'air cut!'). I thouht 'Death line' was better, but 'Creep' was ok.

Yes it was a lot like Death Line, which I thought was more atmospheric. But in saying that, I agree with KR that the first half was much better before they actually revealed the creature - quite chilling and atmospheric to that point, then just became a bit run of the mill after that. Although the scene on the operating table was very good I have to say.

a 2 second (ie pointless, but always welcome) cameo from Christopher Lee Probably the best example of this has to be "Russel Mulcahy's Talos: The Mummy" Anyone else here seen that? KR

'Death Line'... the 70's movie about murderous cannibals decended from workers who got trapped underground during the building of the subway system. Were they called "Morlocks" ? Ripping off Wells again... or is that a "tribute"?
