There’s this new movie I heard about from one of my coworkers at umgd out called BloodRayne 2: Deliverance. The producer of the first BloodRayne, Uwe Boll, directs this film. He’s also directed other movies such as Alone in the Dark. Rayne, the lead character, battles a group of vampire cowboys. Its got a lot of action. I didn't even see the first one! Was it even released in the UK? I'm a big 'rayne fan. I loved the game. What I wasn't sure about was this new storyline they introduced for the first movie. Thing is... the whole joy about the game (like 'Return to Castle Wolfenstein') was 'rayne against the Nazis. And this game plot has been buried. Are we that PC that we can't see a vampire kicking Nazi butt anymore? Who would it offend? Asides from Nazis, obviously. And who gives a fuck about them? The other question is... what the hell is Uwe Boll on... and where can I get some? For fecks sake... he keeps getting handed these game franchises only to crap all over them. Ok... he's happy to FIGHT his critics (fair play, I guess).... but does that make him any good? No. What the hell is going on in Hollywood? That'll be my rant for the day, then.  |

I'm one of the few people who though Alone in the Dark was ok. Yeah it could've been a lot better and it certainly had its flaws, but it could've been worse.
By the way, I didn't know that the first was was already out either. Must've been straight to DVD or not even released in the UK.
