When I first laid eyes on the title "The Ruins" I thought it was the name of a punk band until I found out it was an upcoming horror film.
Being the fan of old-school horror fiction that I am, I thought I would lay this little tale by Clark Ashton Smith on you and let you decide whether or not this was an influence on Scott Smith's novel,"The Ruins".
On another note, these two Smiths aren't related by any chance, are they?
