A Stuart Gordon movie? I've loved some of his stuff in the past but not sure if I've seen this or not. The title and the premise is familiar though.

I remember watching this years ago and it was great back then. How dare it be given 4.1 out of 10!!!
I remember there was a sequel named 'Crash and Burn'.

Little gem of a sci-fi! The special FX were actually quite good and the ending rather novel.

I remember the FX being quite good, the rest of the movie just fair. An okay film, nothing to go out of your way to see. But if you're into "mecha", or giant Transformer-type fighting exoskeletons (not really robots) with human controllers inside, definitely check this film out. It's by far the most realistic treatment of mecha ever done.

Yes I remember this one- good film at the time. I remember being a little confused at the end though, as to where the big mech arm appeared from in the desert.
