I am with you, Steann. All we need is the rest of the country to wake up (some hope, alas) and stop watching the crap they do and we may get some quality TV back (on a regular basis, not just the very occasional ace show like 'Life on Mars'... which I ended up seeing on DVD btw....) again. Until then, I shall pass. Telly? You can bloody keep it.

sometimes it's the same ol' same ol' just different actors or a british program has been " revitalized " in an american way for e.g. robins nest became two's company

Either way, it's all poop. Like I said, wake me up when it gets good and original again. Seriously, I have no idea why I pay for a TV license. It's a waste of money.

i know...€170 here plus about €30 a month for four channels and €70 a month for digital t.v. WHICH shows a lot of repeats so yep in essence a waste of money...so for me a decent d.v.d. an aero a bottle of 7up and cool blue doritos while i'm barefoot...bliss

Totally agree - all TV at the mo is total pap (with the exception of the recently brilliant Life on Mars). Unfortunately the unwashed masses seem to lap up all the Big Brothers, Grease is the words, X Factors and other utter drivvel, so the rest of us just have to bloody turn to the almighty DVD.

Who needs teevee anyway?
Instead i invested in the 2 DVD boxsets of the original 60's The Outer Limits series, sheer classic that along with the awesome Mystery Science Theatre 3000 and Spike Milligan's "Q" series are as good as telly is ever going to get.

Your beyond help!
The most i,ve seen of any of the BB tripe was when the remote got stuck on C4 and it took around 15 secs (the longest seconds of my life) to get away from the mindless life sapping crap that was parading it's shite before my eyes.
I survived that just...Next time (god forbid there should be a next time) if it happens again i,ll just run out the room and hide in the bin.

Hehe. Then again Doc Who series 1 had a good answer to BB - if you lost you got vapourised and if you won you got to live.

Rumour has it that Russell transvestite Davies wants Tony Blair to star in the show as a cameo.
I'm reeeeeeeaaaallllyy starting to f*cking hate this show with a vengance. The show is over politically correct it makes me puke, but this! The show is terrible, seriously f*cking sh*te.
Full of cheap has been losers and z rate celebs.
