Time for another poll guys! ;D So who do you like best? Basically I reckon the most effective portrayal should be that which best represents the wretched pathetic nature of the character, i.e. fully deserving of a slap I've cast my vote for Rhett Giles...he acted C T Howell off the screen and certainly made me want to punch him within about ten minutes of screen time! ;D KR

Well, I haven't heard the BBC audio (can anyone help with that?), so I have to choose between the others. I'll go for Phil... he's the reverend gentleman I grew up with. But kudos must go to Rhett Giles. I, too, thought he was ace! I've seen him in a few Asylum flicks and he is consistently good, whether being tongue in cheek or playing it straight.

I have to go for Phil mostly because of his awesome singing voice.

Mine has to be John kaufmann. I really think he not only looked like the curate from the book but also managed to act like the books curate as well....

I voted for Lynott because I love his voice, the pain and frustration, but I did like the pendragon curate, he seemed pathectic (and that wasn't meant as a reflection of the acting, which I think was good)
