I bought this film on DVD a while ago because of the high ratings, and because it is by Terry Gilliam (I bought Time Bandits as well). I was wondering who else has seen this and what they thought? I loved it, really dark, but funny and clever. I need to watch again as they say it becomes better with more views as there is loads hidden within it. Here is the IMDB page if you havn't seen it:

Loved it (and Time Bandits too). It's the type of film that you need to watch a few times to really appreciate it.

Its a brilliant film. I loved the inspired choice of Robert D'Niro as the rebellious, duct repair man! Ian Holm is brilliant as the stressed manager.

LOL the film is a portent vision of the Blair/Brown years.

Terry Gilliam is a god. He can do no wrong. I have seen every movie he's ever made, some of them just because it was him. I'm still hoping for "The Man Who Killed Don Quixote" to be made.

My personal favorite is the movie he hates - "The Adventures of Baron Munchausen"

It's tough to pick one favourite, but Time Bandits or 12 Monkeys maybe for me. Or maybe Fear and Loathing...or even Jabberwocky...or Holy Grail...doh.

I forgot he did 12 monkeys. But oh yeah...THE BARON!!!!
