I watched this last night. I really enjoyed it. Even though the story is slow, I am expecting its pace to pick up soon, especially as we were left on a cliff hanger at the end of the episode. I'm hoping this won't be slow paced like Heroes and Lost. But, according to this review on IMDB it shouldn't - www.imdb.com/title/tt0408378/The things that really stood out about Charlie jade were the beautiful sets and the great Camera work. As Charlie Jade is set in the near future, the sets were the crews interpretations of it, and what they have created were both beautiful and dark. What really complemented the beautiful sets was the great camerawork. It reminded me of some music videos and it really suited this sci-fi show. I am eagerly anticipating episode 2 next week. |
