yes you read it correctly there are talks of bringing the digital stutterer back to the screens. Rumours are that max Headroom will be redesigned taking 21 century games/computers/sfx/internet into account and having a pure digital character that assists the protagonists. Matt Frewer in the meantime has donned the platic shoulder pads for a series of Channel 4 adverts advertising the digital switch-over. They are on the TV now. Max is back..

I loved both the original music show and the sci-fi drama series. But yes, I'm not sure whether this would work as well now given the huge advances in technology since then. And, as much as I love him, he does look a bit sad and old in those digital ads!

It may work, we now live in the Max age of Computers, hundreds of digital channels I phones and the internet. I think it be cool seeing Max pop up on your i phone or watch and not restricted to the TV but he hops around like the matrix.
