This serie of at the least 12 books, is fantastic. I is a christian story, wrote byTim Lahaye and Jerry B. Jenkins, it is about the John apocalypse in the bible. There is also a left behind serie for kids.
The serie is written in today's time, beginning about 10 years ago, they wanted to show peoples how an amargeddon base on the bible story, would be like with today's world with internet and a lot of other technology that we have in our lives.
We dont have to believe in God, Jesus, or Apocalypse of John, to like this serie. There is a lot of action, frightening scenes, likable characters, and it is a page turning without stopping. At least wishing not to stop reading.
Of course there is reference to God and Jesus, no choice, because it is base on that. So believers non believers if you want to try it it is very good serie.

To tell you the truth guys, i have almost all of them, maybe only one short, and guess what, i did read it since i talked about this months ago, the books, the story is still good, but when i took one of the book back to continue to read the story, i found out there was a lot more about God and bible then a tought at first, i have to admit that at the time i liked it that way, it, not that i dont believe in God, but something is not like it was in the past, i would never throw away these books, tho, and probably i will read them in the futur, but now i am very very busy. And i prefer to read pure Sci-fi then that, but still there is a lot of action anyway in these books.
Series is the word we utilise in french for a story in many books, it is one story, but in many books, there is a lot they wrote about this.
Now they started another one, and it is the same story but before the rapture, so it is the same characters in the past, the prelude to the story already out.
Chantale,
So what i want to say, if it bothers you to ear to much about God and The bible, you better read other books, but event if it is about the bible and God, it can be taken as a scifi for somebody that dont believe in this stuff, because of all the action there is in these books.
Anyway i hope you anderstood something in what i wrote lol

The books are an interesting phemomioumn, and yes I have read them heard the radio plays, seen the films, but a nagging little feelign in the back of my mind can't help but feel uncomfortable about a few things with this series. That it lives of the fear and psaranoia of modern events, packages them as prophecy in the making and as future history and markets it to a gullible population. That it's written by writers with a fiscal interest in the Iarqy (You think New Babylon was an antichristian idea). Pro-Zionist-no-matter-what-the-human-cost propaganda, tinged with right wing dogma and American superiority wins out in the end mentality, The books are creative but not very well written, only just so well written that they pull the right fear cords with the right people to make it as successful as it doesn't deserve to be.
End of the world scenarios make for good sci-fiction and horror. God knows I've written plenty myself, but when used for political gain, I cannot help but feel a Mein Kampf tinge to the whole affair.
