Seems to possibly be a revelations film, lots of people researching into the bible link. Would be interesting for someone to make a mater of face film about the end days rather than a religious one.
The website slusho.jp is related to all this. Trailer looks awesome.

People are going nuts over this, ive heard theories ranging from Martian Tripods, Godzilla, Manga Voltron/Evagilion and the Biblical/End of Days theme.

These videoes shows a man talking about the end of the world and future prophesy. Although the website is totally unrelated to the trailer (or so they say) the website seems to unnaturally fit the trailer. Attempts to put the website videos up have been removed by u tube and Paramount pictures which only depens the mystery. the puzzel site is here. www.ethanhaaswasright.com/

I think I'm safe, for now. Wherever I go it isn't long before they find me.

Anyone remember 'Tell Sid'?  This is all very interesting... but the internet hype thing has been done before. The 'Blair Witch Project' mythology that was built up was, actually, more interesting than the film itself when it came to it. I hope this isn't just a load of hype connected to another 'big boom' summer film. Having said that, the explosion in the city bit was quite cool! |

Thanks for posting this, David!! Both I and my lady (as well as many others) were stunned and left going 'WTF??' upon this trailers release. The both of us saw it a couple of weeks ago. I've been a bit crazy trying to figure it out since.
Seems both Paramount and director J.J. Abram (Lost) are keeping tight lipped on this project. Known only at this point as the Cloverfield Project or 01/18/08. Also any puzzles or videos related to a certain Ethan Haas have largely been dispelled as crap. By both studio and director. At least from what I've read.
So what's this movie about? Well, no one seems to know for certain just yet. It's widely speculated from what I've read, that it might just have something to do with Cthulhu mythos and/or the Necronomicon. Now that would be cool!!

Also a special effects man has been quoted as saying the creature or 'creatures' in this film are '****ing sick' This is an adult aimed film not for kiddies. |

I've not been this excited about a film since I heard paramount were making War of the Worlds, not that that turned out as good as we hoped |
