My prediction is that the Solar System is warming up because the earth and the Solar system is slowly aligning with the centre of the Galaxy which will happen in 2012. After that the Earth will begin to cool again.
No fancy mystical theory. i just think its energies and stuff that weve yet to work out and discover yet all working along the plane of the galaxy and as our solar system approaches it it heats up the Earth and the Solar system.
This happens every 30,000 years, its just a natural thing.

Hm that's very interesting.
I wonder if there's anything more about it.

The "consensus" of scientific opinion on the causes of global warming has become politicized in a manner unheard of in history, or virtually so. Darwin's publication of The Origin of Species caused a firestorm of controversy, but I'm not sure even in that case it was as bad as the current environmental alarmists comparing those who "dare" to challenge the conventional wisdom to holocaust deniers! The truth is that (A) there *is* proof of small fluctuations in the amount of sunlight the sun is putting out, (B) we only have accurate, widespread, worldwide temperature records for about 20 years, so we don't have the data on any long-term trend, (C) there is evidence of warming on other planets-- not just Mars, and (D) climate is a very complex series of interactions between a great number of factors, and we just don't yet know enough to say how much mankind is contributing to global warming, and how much is natural. So when someone says "human pollution causes global warming", at best they're overstating the case. At least part of it *is* natural-- maybe most of it. Remember, in the 1960s the "consensus of scientists" rejected the theory of continental drift, and in the 1980s insisted the only differences between how men and women think and communicate were cultural differences, not biological ones. They were wrong then, and I believe they're wrong now. The finger-pointing over climate change is yet another sad example of our tendency to focus on looking for a scapegoat instead of a solution. Global warming is real, it's not going away soon, and we need to start thinking and talking about how to deal with the reality of the situation. This is true regardless of how much or how little of it is caused by human pollution. www.agu.org/pubs/crossref/2006.../2005GL025539.shtmltinyurl.com/6k682tinyurl.com/262px5tinyurl.com/2rwu2jtinyurl.com/22b7zx

Interesting links. thanks.
I read somewhere one small volcano blast like the one in Italy at the moment, generates more pollution than all of Man's put together thouout the whole of history...
yes GW is here no doubt. But mankind isnt it. Its natural and we are all along for the ride.
