I have never known pain like it. I thought somone had stuck a knitting needle into my nerve endings. The pain was so bad i locked myself into a room and paced the floor for 2 hours straight!
It happened all of a sudden when i went to a dentist, and he took an x ray. The bottom wisdom tooth had smashed through the gum horizontally and ripped into the rear molar, smashing it underneath and killing the nerves beyond repair.
I now need surgery to take out 3 wisdoms and a dead molar.
I knever knew up until that point the human body was capable of such pain. I'm on Paramol and Nurofen (you can take both together but be careful) The combo made me feel great but dont drink booze of you'll be fecked.
A tip kiddies, get your wisdoms ripped out young, it saves a heap o cr*p later in life.

I met a man named David who’s wisdom teeth didn’t come in until he was in his mid 40s and they actually came in perfect! It was the freakiest thing that even happened to someone I know. The dentist was like “Wow, they actually did what they were supposed to!”

I know, i felt like that guy in Marathon Man.
I thought someone was trying to make a string of pearls with my teeth while my teeth were still in my face.

They say that human evolution is shrinking our jaws, so that it's becoming harder and harder to fit 32 teeth into them. I had a problem with impacted wisdom teeth (which means there isn't room for them to grow in, and they crowd against adjacent teeth when they do). I had an absolutely horrible time when one of my lower wisdom teeth "decided" to erupt from below the gum line and grow out to be almost as high as the tooth adjacent in the space of only three days! If it hadn't happened to me, I doubt I'd believe a tooth could move so fast. There were times I could actually *feel* it moving! Of course my jaw swelled up so badly that I couldn't close it; couldn't chew, had to drink my meals. Fortunately I eventually got a job where I could get a good dental plan, and had all four wisdom teeth pulled. People told me I shouldn't get them all pulled at once, but I'm very glad I did. Altho I did have to go back in for a follow-up visit as there was a loose piece of bone floating around causing some pain, but it wasn't any big deal; the dentist just gave me a shot of Novocaine and cut the splinter out. It was well worth it to be sure I'd never have a problem with impacted teeth again. .
