Looks like lots of fun. Sorry let me try again. What do Tesco put in their fuel these days?

From the taste of it, I'd say it was probably something like silicone. ;D Just joking, it was silicone. They have publicly apologised and will pay for any damage caused. How do you put a price on work carried out by yourself though?

You can probably work out a standard rate based on what a local mechanic charges, minus a certain amount if your son's not a pro mechanic.
It's a bugger- I reckon that's what did my bike the other week- though luckily it was just power drop out and stalling, though with only 2 cylinders, the drop out made a hell of a difference!!
Looks like my Bro's bike may have been affected too- he's had it apart after loosing power- looks like a cylinder is playing up. Though this could be 'cos he serviced it himself for the frst time ever...! He's not a happy geezer at the moment though.
And guess what? Were gonna have to pay more for petrol because of their f**k up. That's outrageous.

Not good. I hope you manage to get it fixed.

That exhaust manifold looks heavy! A painful and very unexpected repair job!
