if thats the best we can do for the real thing, then i don't like it at all. looks more like an old geezer in a metal constume shuffling along, trying not to fall down.

I think I've been too spoiled by Hollywood FX movies. I cooed appreciatively when I saw that... then laughed out loud when it started shuffling about. Reminds me of the Human made FM's clunking about in my book.

It's nice that the very first walking Tripod was made in my Motherland: the United States of America. And even better: in Virginia, the state I was born in (and currently residing in)! I can see that thing be 20 times larger striding in the English countryside. By the way, has anyone seen my favorite Tripod pic in the Tripod pictures thread? You will want to see it!
