My town versus the gas ship....

As much as it could be a humorus story it isn't.

Late Febuary saw a gas ship come to my town and load on gas (We have an ESSO gas storage facility) when one of the workers noticed something was a miss and stopped the loading.

It then came to light that the crew had fixed damaged gas pipes with bloody gaffer tape!
That was all that stood between us and disaster.

If that ship had have been fully loaded it could have flattened everything within 5km - so I could have kissed most of my best friends - and my own life - good bye.

We're lucky that didn't happen.

I know it's not really my place to put such things here but I'm really angry.

Unbelievable, i hope it is possible to do something about this, there is enought bad things happened in the past with oil, and you are right to be angry, and it was right to talk about this. I hope that the peoples responsable, for this, will be known before something happen. Chantale.
