Anyone else heard this yet? It's called Teo & Tea.
It's quite dancy, but with his own stamp on it. There's actually bits that sound like Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream in there- which makes for an interesting listen. The odd track has the odd Air (French Band) sound too.
It sounds like he's taken a listen to a few electronic acts that he influenced, got influenced by them (rather paradoxically!) and actually produced something rather pleasant out of. It's a far cry from that track on Chronologie with the scratching sounds on it (from the Roland DJ70 synth with the turntable controller on it)- that was more him looking from his lofty tower trying to sound 'with-it' (IMHO).
So yes- I rather like it.
