Mrs Poyks and I have been listening to the Pink Floyd's guitarist's solo album "On An Island" for the first time tonight, and it's just stunning!!!

Aspects of the 'Floyd feel are captured perfectly, while Gilmour's passion for writing shines with a remotely different feel.

I wasn't expecting it to be this good, and I'm happy to be proved wrong.

It is a lovely album indeed.

I'm sad I missed the tour, now, as they also did a few floyd classics, including ECHOES!!!!!

Fortunately, a DVD is on the way. Hurrah!

Been listening to it again. Just gets better and better. The title track is just beautiful!
