At last someone with some credibility on it.
Not enough reason for me to watch it though. The whole thing has become a farce.
Catherine-bloody- tate! Tsk!
Bring back Tom Baker and Leela, some decent scriptwriters like they used to have (rather than popular culture junkies) and I might think about watching it again.
And rest.

Yeah Tom Baker is a God in my opinion. Still by far the best doctor.

I thought the last series of Doctor Who gave us three of the best episodes in its entire history. Human Nature, Family of Blood and Blink. And I can't conceive of anyone actually disliking such episodes after seeing them, they were marvelous. Still a bit baffled by your consuming hatred, Rusti. There are some very good episodes out there, amongst the dross.
Unfortunately the finale was less good, despite a strong opener with Utopia and Sound of Drums, it frittered it all away with its usual compulsion to go overboard.
And as for Catherine Tate - ugh. Can't stand the woman. Unfortunately, I'm also not convinced by the casting of Felicity Kendal - she was great in The Good Life, obv, but I'm a bit worried this is stunt casting. (Put the gun down David, please!) However, Tim McInnery is a fine actor, so I'm quite pleased he's there.
But most of all I'm annoyed that Catherine Tate is in it, and am a bit fearful for the quality of series 4. I hope to be proved wrong, and we can always expect goodness from Stephen Moffat I suppose, but still...
... why the f**k did you not cast Sally Sparrow as the companion, BBC?
