Ah but...Read On... The sea-wind ruffled the sheer silken fabric of my turban. I cupped your face in my lovely hand, Our lips stretched closer and closer. An as i swept your face with my eyes, I remembered a rice-pudding I'd left in the oven

As usual, I'm on the back end of this... but, you know, spiders probably think we are ugly and scary....

I'm weird in that they give me the shivers (conditioning, perhaps) but I still feel for them. I always try to shove them out a window or something.

Yeah, they keep the bug population down, amongst other things. We have a lot to thank them for, yet we squash them. Hardly fair, is it?

not fair at all...you know i think why people fear spiders...you can't hear them creep up on you can you ?

But they DON'T creep up on us. They just go about their business. If they see a human they will run like buggery. That's why I think it's unfair that we squash them indescriminately. Having said that. If we are asleep, they MAY crawl in our mouths. What was that stat I once heard? The average person swallows 2-3 spiders, PER YEAR!, in their sleep? This is, apparently, false... but you never know... it's all protein, after all! Here's one of the best EVER spider Urban Legends... urbanlegends.about.com/od/horrors/a/cactus.htm
