Mrs Poyks and I have downloaded that Channel 4 4oD, and it's rather ace! I may be up watching "The IT Crowd" and "Father Ted" all night now!  The playback quality is pretty darn good, with full stereo sound. www.channel4.com/4od/index.html |

Yea, you have to be patient with it, but it's good for watching TV on the PC. Just watching Garth Marenghi! |

Just watched my favorite ever documentary on 4oD!! It must have been recently added as I had not seen it there before. I'm totally obsessed with lightning and thunderstorms, and I recorded this on video years ago, and literally wore the tape out watching it over and over. When the tape eventually gave out, I was worried I'd never see it again. It's not just the documentary element to it, it has amazing music and a more artistic attitude toward the portrayal of the footage, and the passion of those involved in lightning research and photography is captured with enthusiasm and dedication. The best thing is, it's free! If you download 4oD and go to documentarys and find Equinox: Electric Skies, anyone who loves lightning and storms is definitely in for a treat!!  |
