Our friend Brendan has a trying day ahead. I'd like to ask that everyone who posts here takes a moment of their time on Monday the 26th for Brendan and his family today. For today is the day that they say their farewells to Roman. Please spare a thought for them, if you can. Thank you.

I agree.
Take care Brendan. Keep your chin up, be positive if you can.
Everyone deals with grief differently, but i can assure you it will be alright, and you will be left with wonderful memories. One day at a time, let things run their course, and above all take care.

Thank you everyone. The day turned out to be a wonderful tribute, many members of the family traveled many miles to be there. The evening turned out to be a great party and a great life was celebrated just as he wanted.

Ditto, a wake should be an excuse for a party, see off the person with a smile and fun. When i go i want people to have a laugh and crack open the bubbly and see the good side to life. I'm glad it went well Pokie.

Sorry about the lateness of this... but I would like to wish you and your family all the best during this hard time. The people we lose never truly leave us. If we remember all the good times we have had with them, and all the advice they have given us over the years, and keep those memories close to our hearts they will always be with us. Anyway, I am glad to hear that you are doing alright... and my thoughts are with you and your family right now. All the best.

I'm really, really sorry this is so late Brendan (I'm smacking my head against a brick wall due to the sheer lateness of it) but I'm glad to hear things are alright. I'm sorry to hear about the loss, it's a shame when someone so close and loved dies. But the memories and fond times that you remember will never be lost. My thoughts are with you.
