Please help me, I'm at the end of my tether!!!!

Things have been going really weird on my Internet Explorer.

Here are the problems:

There is no 'click' noise between links, i cant use Windows media or Limewire (no sound), cant view anything on Youtube and i also cant play my snooker game that i downloaded ages ago (of which Ive played squillions of times).

This has happened before, and i took it to a repairer, he charged me £35.00 for looking at it, and only for him to say "well it works here when we try it", which is really annoying

, but eventually it started working out of the blue!!

Any suggestions anyone?

Sounds like a hardware problem if it's intermittent.)
