Brothers and sisters of sci-fi, I would like to introduce the DISINTEGRATOR, the most devastating rubber band gun ever built. It fires 288 big rubber bands, at a rate of 40 per second, from its two motorised Gatling-style rotors. It can be mounted on a tripod or fired from the hip (like the Terminator!).
