if you haven't heard but actor Heath Ledger has been found dead at his home in NY. Suspected accidental overdose. Only 28 and a fine young actor. A waste.  |

it's everywhere. all my boards are talking about it. I was never a fan, but it's such a pity. He was so young and only really just getting started.
He has a two year old daughter as well.
It's a shame, truly.

Travesty, I've been hearing some good reports on his performance as The Joker. 28 is a silly age to be killing yourself. It might be not by purpose, but hammering yourself with drugs is just as bad.

Wow, this is a bit of a shock. I was looking forward to seeing his performance as The Joker after seeing the pics.

Aye and he was working with Terry Gilliam on the Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnasssus.
My favourite of his films was A Knight's Tale, although I think that will change when I see his Joker performance.

Yeah big shame, I didnt even know there was another batman film coming out! he looks real evil as the joker, looking forward to that one, Im hoping they dedicate it to him at the start of the film

From what I've seen of his performance as The Joker and other stuff I think (like Melee) he was really just getting started (even with all he had already achieved)... and on the verge of much bigger things. And with a young daughter and all...
A real shame.

But of news on this - the word right now (although not official until all test results are in) is that he died from an accidental overdose of a sleep aid.
