I got me a new phone for Christmas. 
It's a Sony Ericsson K800i Cyber Shot.
(And no, I haven't changed my number)
It has taken me this long to fill it full of names and e-mail addresses. Now I discover that I can have any ring tone I desire. Any song or any noise I wish.
I have been experimenting with different ones over the last few days with some of my favourites. Trouble is, they take too long to get going. War of the Worlds works very well. It jumps straight in there and is instantly recognized. I have also tried Etta James and I would rather go blind'. Another one that works well is The Riverboat song by OCS.
What I need is a song that says it all in the first 23 seconds (which is the point at which the answerphone kicks in). I don't yet have a memory card installed, so the phone will only hold a few tunes at a time. A very slow process until I purchase one. The other thing I've noticed is that particularly with the Etta one is that you know at which point the phone will stop ringing, which is a big help as there's nothing worse than pressing the 'answer key' a split second after it stops.
I am looking at tunes from the following list if poss. It's a lot harder than you think.
