If anyone has the time, I would love you to give us a review on this film, help us to know what needs to be improved on and what your general thoughts were.
Thanks.

Wow- what a concept. Overall, definately better than Trepidation. There was some nice editing here, along with good use of score again. No script for the most part helps atmosphere- sometimes the best scenes in films involve no-one talking. It all looked very good too, and quite convinving considering the budget. Improvements. The autopsy sections drags too long. Did we really need to see 5 or so pieces being cut out and put onto the tray? Perhaps the last two would have been sufficient, with the other pieces already on the tray. Also, for the first shots of the shop assistant, we only see his mouth. Then in his last shot we see all of his face. Apart from this one clip, I was under the impression the viewer was never intended to see any of their faces to add to the atmosphere style. This one clip where we see all of his face contradicts the rest of the film in this way. Other than that- great!

I think your comments about both films have been very fair. The thing I love about films is everyone comes up with something different that they liked and disliked. But, the comment of the autopsy being too long is a common complaint. The comment about my full face is a new one, but I know what you mean - I wouldn't say it contradicts the whole film, as the shot is still a tight shot of my face.

Yes it is still a tight shot of your face, but still, your identity is fully revealed in this one shot- where as in your other shots, and everyone else involved in the autopsy and 'bakery' has the identity kept secret. So in this regard alone, it does contradict the rest of the film. I really couldn't understand why the last shot revealed your face, when the first shot's didn't. Normally there is a reason in a film to do this. For example, the identity of the character is shown earlier on, then later we see the mouth only for example, and you as a watcher are thinking 'who could this be?', then in the last clip we gasp in shock as the identity is revealed to be the character shown earlier. In the instance of your film, there is no need to do so, as we are still none the wiser as to who you are when we do see your whole face. It wasn't needed, and would have worked better if we still concentrated just on your mouth as you smirked at the end of the scene. Just something to think about. Hope you don't mind constructive critisism.

Constructive critisism is fine, and as I have said your comments have been very helpful. I just don't agree with this one. Matter of opinion I suppose. I do understand where you're coming from, I just don't agree with it. You would have had to do 3 shots of his face in quick succession to get the impact of what the one shot did - the impact to show there is something not right here, something more. The shot had a purpose.
But anyway, thank you for taking your time to watch our film and we are glad you enjoyed it.

Guess we will just have to disagree on that bit then- but hey, if we all had the same opinion, this board would be pretty boring wouldn't it.

You're welcome, and yes I did.
