Well I'd say you achieved your goal. Time travel is supposed to confuse people. And you confused me to the point that I didn't even know what I was confused about. And that's something!

I think it needs explaining a bit better what is happening i.e. the link to wells' book, it seems completely unrelated to anything in the story and doesn't seem to fit, and would be a part an external editor would take out for not progressing the story I reckon. But thats my opinion

But that's my opinion What I was going to do originally was have the time machine appear on a hill side, the time traveller climbs out and says "home at last" looks around sort of puzzled and say "Somethings not right here, where's my laboratory? My home?" then he sees the cylinder heading straight for him and says "Oh crap!" the next picture just show a huge explosion and bits of time machine flying everywhere. the last picture in that little scene would show just the smoking cylinder and a voice saying "Did we hit something?" and another voice says "Yes the ground" The whole thing would have been done in four or five pictures, but I tried to develop the plot a bit further and maybe I shouldn't have.

Zombie thread! Did you make this comic into a hard copy print eventually LC? Got any pics? Zombie thread? And no I never got around to having it turned into a book, I didn't know how I stood legally. There is one hard copy, six pictures to a page in two A4 portfolio books. It must have cost about £40 in ink and photo quality paper.
