I'm all set to create my own website, and apart from knowing the very basics, I'm a bit of a div! I need lots of advice; from the best places to pay for domain and server space, to the construction of the site itself. All advice very welcome please!

The site is coming along nicely now, and I thought it would be a nice touch to have real drawn pictures to add an organic feel. I'll add a lyrics page with a picture to head each song. It's about bloody time I did some artwork anyway, so this has given me the bug again. I dusted off my pencils and pastels, and had a drawing binge earlier this evening. I just thought about the songs and literally just drew what came to mind without any self criticism, and it's resulted in a kind of child like innocence. They're not brilliant, but I had bloody good fun doing them. I managed to do eight of them before my drawing arm ached like buggery!! Here we go; Wonders Never Cease; Three Years Alone; The Signet's Calling; Serene Arena; Liberty Day; Caught In The Act; Story; Autumn Sun;

I use webstudio. its a what-you-see-what-you-get program. You move all the elements around like a photoshop montage, press f5 and the program works out the html for you. www.webstudio.com/

Thanks yawl! The website is coming on nicely now (it'll be live in a couple of weeks; ladibscricket.com/ ), and I've been accepted by iTunes UK, Europe and US, so the album will be on sale in a couple of months. ..Then I'm going to punt my ass like a filthy slag; radio stations, local TV, papers and of course every corner of the interweb. I'll be doing some work with a very respected musical artist soon as well which will be awesome! Once the site is live, I will still appreciate any critisism and advise, so I'll keep you all posted. Big thanks again, the help so far has been inspiring.

I've been asked this before, so I'm going to do a cut and paste. Here you go; The brass tag you see on the Myspace page is from a shed my Dad bought from Market Rasen Racecourse a good few years back (he used to work there). The head groundsman was Peter Bontoft who has been long gone now, but a few decades ago he made that tag for the key to the shed that used to be the ladies changing room for the cricket club that used to be in the middle of the course. He made all the key tags, many of which I remember being hung up in the main office because I worked there in my school holidays as a kid. The old letter punches he used were pretty worn out even back then (the ones you hit with a hammer to make the letter), and he'd accidentally used the B instead if the E in "Ladies". Being the old school working class bloke that he was, he didn't want to waste the brass, so used it anyway. I love the fact that the name is a result of a simple mistake, and it's also a mark of respect to Peter. I thought it was a great name for the project because it's utterly original, and has some real life history behind it; it represents the imperfection of human nature and that's something I really like in an otherwise sterile world.

Brendan, I love your art as you know... it's got something I can't pin down. That's probably why I loved the Human Tripod pic you did for Aftermath (although I also love the CGI rendering of 'Nautilus' that was done for me too. Most unexpected and SO on the button!). Keep it up, mate... the work you do (whether it be art, music or sculpture) means something to you in each case and that always comes across to me, so you must be doing something right! And I think your work really suits the pastel medium somehow. You are so damn talented! I'm envious!
