I decided to work on the Handling Machine first, after doing all those legs the Tripods should be easy. ;D I'm working on the machines as separate images to the landscape, but I've put this unfinished Handling Machine in situ so you'll get an idea what it will look like.

Looking good LC! Can't believe I didn't spot this thread before.
Also I think you may have acted a bit too hastily in regards to the request to take your image down, because I see no proof of who that person claims to be but what's done is done.

You could well be right CT But I don't think so, The author of that message called his/herself 'Elsonsister'? why not 'PeterElson'? we now know Peter Elson is dead and presumably so does the author of the message. No money was requested and it seems like a lot of trouble to go to, to play a practical joke.

Of course that may be what we're expected to think. We may never know. But good progress on your own rendition, looking good!

I've always wondered about the extension beneath the hood. Is it a heat ray? An antenna? The blood pipette? Some random piece of metal the martians put there just because they could?

I've always wondered about the extension beneath the hood. Is it a heat ray? An antenna? The blood pipette? Some random piece of metal the martians put there just because they could? I have the blueprints and they say 'HEAT RAY. UNLIKE FIGHTING MACHINE, IN FIXED POSITION. So yes it is a heat ray but fixed.

Looking very great there! I have the blueprints and they say 'HEAT RAY. UNLIKE FIGHTING MACHINE, IN FIXED POSITION. So yes it is a heat ray but fixed. You have blueprints? Are you trying to build one for real and just covering that with making this image?
