Wow! That's a magnificent picture - visually stunning, and gives us an indication of the sheer chaos and confusion of the battle. And the flag is a nice touch - makes it far easier to tell it's the human's attempt at a fighting machine. I like it a lot. I also love the fact that the little machines look very, very similar to how I myself imagined them to look when I first read the story. And they're cute... almost like something you could keep as a pet if it wasn't for the fact that you'd probably end up in the same situation as that poor unfortunate soldier in the image. Not good. :/ I'd love to see a photo of how the final book came out looking. Hope the launch went well also. ~ xxx

Thanks Luperis, great to have you here again. Cute wasn't quite what I was going for, but I know what you mean, I believe I also referred to them as cute on my Facebook page. The union flag was Richard (Rod Glenn) Burton's suggestion at the eleventh hour and I also think it was a great idea.

The event yesterday went well, thanks. The first new copies of Aftermath were sold and signed by the Nerfmeister. I'll try to sort out a photo.

Everyone LOVED The King of America cover too and it managed to sell a couple as well. People really are taking notice of both covers.

Having seen the cover of yours Rich it really does catch the eye - both of them do, and I think this will help you guys boost sales.

I'm informed that there are some copies of the new print available through the wild wolf website if anyone is interested. All can be signed and are re-edited with the Thunderchild short story included.

I never actually got around to reading your Thunderchild story, I've got it somewhere on my old PC, I'll have to search it out.

Oh, I see. Sorry I missed that thread. Good work on that cover, and forgive my late comment.
