Peeps, some of you are quite clever, arty-farty or what have you so help me out here, please... I'm working on tidying up, and slightly expanding, my book 'The War of The Worlds: Aftermath' for a re-release after it sank into oblivion the first time. I'd to do something with the cover art as well. I still want Poyksie's top-ho image of a Human Fighting Machine incorporated in it somehow, but it should probably be a bit different to the last cover. I thought perhaps a newspaper type of cover or something but you may have a better idea. Any ideas or thoughts would be gratefully received. Ta.

Good luck with reprinting your book! If I can think up anything to help, I will.

I'll do a high detail version of that if you wish, then pass it on to whoever wants to incorporate it within the design. An overall artistic collaboration could make a great cover!!

I was thinking of a battle scene between the Human and Martian Tripods and the little fast moving machines (I can't remember what you called them) attacking ground troops. But I'll wait for your suggestion.

LC, I like that idea. Perhaps we could put Brendan's image on the back cover this time around, it'd still be there for when people read the blurb (I still love it!) and there will also be new imagery to differentiate from the old edition. What do you think B? Unless either of you can think of a way to have both? LC, If you want to have a play with it, be my guest.

I'm sure I'll be able to incorporate Brendan's design into the picture, I wouldn't want to loose it. I'll need to reread the book to refresh my memory. How quick will you need the picture?

Trainee
Can I make a suggestion that doesn't involve violence, or is this the wrong crowd for that?
