I loved the original. Anyone else think this could/would make an awesome remake? I don't mind as long as they get someone well fit to re-do the scene when Jenny gets her kit off. I'm turning into Bernard Manning, this isn't good.

It's a great film and with advancements in special effects they could really go to town on it.
Jenny Agutta was always game for getting her kit off in virtually every film she ever made!

Looks like that remake has been shelved for now. Surely 'Carousel' happened at 30 in the original, not at 21? Anyway, the Michael York movie was pretty good but the series was, IIRC (haven't seen it for years), watchable but not as good.
