I know some of you on these boards, as well as myself, are musicians. But have you ever seen a strange or weird looking version of your own instrument (ehem!). Take a look. These are 'Staccato' drums. These drums are hand-laminated; colour-impregnated and glass-reinforced plastic is the material of choice, and they also use a carbon fibre composite in the special Limited Edition range. I had a go on one of those kits in the 80's. Very LOUD!!! :-)
That bass really is an axe!

I've played on a set of these just the once, on holiday when I was about 14 - I entered a talent comp (came 2nd  ). I just remember studying them for a while, because I was so intrigued by how they looked more than anything! |

Sabian Cymbals also had a funny five minutes with one of their cymbal range; they called it a 'Rocktagon'   |

I'd love to know how those cymbals sound! Rickenbacker experimented with slanted fret guitars, but nothing as wild as these!  |
