Right while this is at the top, ive just found out that next Tuesday July 15th is the crunch time.
There is a meeting of the Horsell Common trustees and our trip is one of those items on the agenda.
Ive assured the gentleman speaking on our behalf Mr Paul Rimmer that we will behave ourselves and that it will be a one off.
If we are not allowed, then i will try to work something out with Mr Rimmer, failing that then we wont be able to camp anywhere near Horsell Common, so everyone get finger crossing!
Horsell Common is a listed site that is patrolled.

Hey guys, I've been wondering about this for a while (thinking with my stomach as always) I realise we are still little way off, and it still depends on whether the authorities decide (hopefully they have decided by now (being the 15th )) but if we do get the go ahead for the trip (christ this is taking ages to spit out lol) what are people thinking of doing for meals? taking camping stoves and cooking there? just sandwiches/cold food? or trying to find a pub for food there? just trying to plan ahead as I have no camping equipmetn as of yet and if I need to buy it I'd rather know sooner rather than later. DOnt want to turn up and watch evberyone else eat when I have nothing |

Hmm, I was waiting to see what the outcome was on the camping. I think Rusti said it was being discussed this week.
